Winter Park Vacation

We just got back from Winter Park and i am one tired boy. We drove all the way to Colorado, and i was a good boy (for the most part). We were gone for a week. We did a lot of really cool things. Here are the highlights...
We went on a wagon ride at the horse ranch. I even wore Pa's hat for a little while.

I discovered that I love ice cream, but mommy only let me try a few bites because i am not one years old yet.

Mommy, Auntie Ann, and Gram E all went on a hot air balloon ride. I wish I could have gone, but mommy says that i am too little.

Bradie and I dressed like twins one day at the mountains and we tricked a few people in thinking we were really twins.

I also went on the Alpine slide a few times, I swam in the hot tub, I took a bath with Ava and Bradie (that was a good time), and was teething with my eighth tooth (which has really been a doosy!)
I had a good time, but I am glad to be back home with mommy and daddy!

1 tooth for each month...

That's right people... I have 7 teeth, one for each month I have been alive. The last 3 have come in over the past 4 days or so. I think I am ready for real food, mommy thinks otherwise, but soon.
I have had such a good time with Shelby watching me this weekend. She did such a good job; she even got me to eat well yesterday and cleaned up a VERY big poopy diaper. Thank You!!

We are packing up for a vacation in Winter Park with Gram E, Pa, Ann, Ava, Bradie, and John. We fly to meet them tonight. I hate to leave daddy though; we sure wish he could miss the first week back in school, but that is not possible in med school. Stay tuned for updates on our vacation!!

My first 4th of July

This past weekend all of daddy's family came to visit and celebrate the 4th of July with me. Nonny, Grand Dude, Jeremy, Bianca, Colton, and his girlfriend. I had such a good time. Bianca picked out my outfit on Friday and she picked Bradie's cool Hand-me-down. Look how cute I am.

On Saturday, mommy worked, but everyone else went around trying to find a good place to hang out. No luck... it was just super hot and nothing worth staying at. We came back home and when mommy got off work, we went to watch the fireworks at Fiesta Texas. We had great seats and I loved the whole firework show!

They left on Sunday, but before they left Bianca gave me some bath toys (which I love). Thank You!

Everybody come back soon!

7 months... and it is mission: GROW

I turned 7 months old today and am working on growing, growing, growing. Everybody knows I am a little boy, and the pediatrician has not been concerned until now. Mommy took me to the doctor on Monday to find out what kind of rash I had on my back and to talk to the doctor about me not eating well. The rash turned out to be eczema. When they weighed me, I was only 14 pounds, 12 ounces which is only 5 ounces more than I was at 6 months. The doctor told mommy to make sure I was eating baby food with cereal at least twice a day and to pull out all the stops to get me to eat. Mommy also is going to offer me a bottle instead of nursing every other feed. The doctor ask mommy if cystic fibrosis runs in the family (because I am small and always seem to be congested). It does not run in the family, and the doctor said she doesn't think I have it at this point but it is something to be mindful of. This, of course, has freaked mommy out!!! So she is going to call the doctor on Friday (when my doc is back in the office) and ask if they can go ahead and just test me so it is nothing she has to even think about. Anyway, since Monday, I have been eating decent. Mommy bought me some rice rusk to help me get interested in eating, and I LOVED it. I feel like such a big boy when I can feed myself... maybe that is the trick. Here is a video.

I am hitting all the milestones. I am scooting without difficulty, still a little shaky sitting (but I can do it for many minutes), I focus very well and can pass things back and forth between my hands. I love to hear my voice and I really like to "wookie". I am still the most social baby you will ever meet. I love everyone and anyone can make me smile. My third tooth just came through today, it is my top left one. I am going to have a head full of teeth very soon!
