Christmas

We got to go back to Fort Worth for Christmas, but this time, I got to fly to Fort Worth with daddy while mommy drove the car in with the dogs. Daddy was flying to Wichita for a residency interview and had a lay over in DFW, so Grammie picked me up at the airport. Daddy took me on the tram or "train" at the airport and I thought that was so cool.

The next day, I got to go to the North Pole Express Train with Grammie, Mommy, Ann, Ava, Bradie, Kristy, Peggy, John, Leisa, Shana, Bobby, Zoe, and Bryson. I loved watching the train and was so excited to ride the train. I was a little disappointerd because I couldn't see out the window because it was so dark, but overall, I had a great time!!

I have really enjoyed the Christmas season. I love all the lights and Christmas trees. And of course, I loved all the presents. I received lots of trains and I got a Leap Pad with games. Mommy and daddy also got me a remote control train because I love playing with pa's train so much.

Happy 3rd birthday

I have been looking foward to my birthday for sometime now. Mommy has been planning a Chuggington party for me. She even took me shopping to get my party supplies, including the cake! I had so much fun at my party! I loved my cake! Pa had put lights up in the backyard and Grammie had bought wagons for a train ride for all the kids. We got engineer hats and train whistles; it was so cool! I enjoyed opening my presents; I received my Giant Excavator from Grandude and Nonny (which I had been asking for weeks), so I was really excited and didn't really want much to do with the other presents once I opened that. It was a great birthday!

No place like home...

After 8 weeks of being in Fort Worth, we finally made it back to my HOME! I did have a lot of fun and was majorily spoiled while we were there, but I was ready to come to my house. It was a long trip in the car and we didn't leave Fort Worth until 7:30 because I had to wait for mommy and daddy to get back from Shreveport (where daddy had an interview). I talked about my toys all the way home, but mommy and daddy thought I would fall sleep because it was so late and I hadn't taken a nap. I made it to San Antonio, but fell asleep the last 10 minutes (at 12:15am). They had never seen me so out of it; Daddy got me out of the carseat, laid me on the ground in my room to put on my diaper and I was a limp noodle. However, as they were putting my pajamas on, my eyes popped open and I wanted to go downstairs and play. At first mommy said No because it was so late, but she and daddy decided since it had been so long since I had been home and all I had been talking about was my toys, that I could play for 30 minutes. I was so excited when we came downstairs. I went from toy to toy and played with pretty much everything, I even got on my sit and spin and did that for a minute. I am such a silly boy!

An Elephant never forgets...

My memory amazes everyone! Here lately, I can remember what store has what toy. For instance, TJ Maxx has the giant excavator that I want, Target has the firetruck that daddy got me, Hobby Lobby has the paint and paper mommy got me a while back as well as a train set that I want, Kroger has a cupcake the mommy got me, and the list goes on. If we so much as drive past these stores, I start talking about the items. And of course, I remember when and where I have done things and who was there.

Riding the Rails; Halloween fun!

I have been looking forward to trick or treating since mommy got my costume at the first of October. She let me pick whether I wanted to be Woody or Wilson, the train on Chuggington. Hands down, I picked Wilson. I love Chuggington and I LOVE trains! Halloween finally came and I was so excited to go trick-or-treat. Mommy took me to the church's carnival. They had trunk-or-treat and I got lots of candy from people's cars, they had lots of games, but my favorite was the bounce house slide and digging in the sand for treasures. When we got back to Grammie's house, I passed out candy. I wish trick-or-treat was everyday!

I'm getting a baby...

I have known for a few weeks that there was a baby growing in mommy's tummy. I first find out at the beginning of September when my childcare fell through and I had to go to mommy to the doctor. She told me that there was a baby in her tummy and we were going to get to see it. I replied "A baby in your tummy? Did you eat him?" Mommy bought me a train from the gift shop and I was a very good boy during her ultrasound, but I was more interested in playing with the train then actually paying attention to the baby. Later that day I was still thinking about this baby in mommy's tummy so I asked' "Did you chew him up?" I'm a little confused about how the baby got in mommy's tummy, but I know one is in there! Here is the 13 week pic of my baby..

Mommy's tummy has been getting bigger and when you ask me where the baby is, I will point at it. When you ask me what is the baby doing in there, I will say, "it's growing up!"
Mommy and daddy went and had an elective ultrasound done to find out if I am going to have a baby brother or sister. The reason they did one before the one at the doctor is because daddy is doing away rotations right now and he will not get to go to the doctor with mommy and he wanted to be there to tell everyone what we are having. So they planned a "gender reveal" party. I was excited because it was a party and I knew that meant cake. I had gone with mommy the day before to pick out the cake. Mommy had to call the next day to tell them to put blue or pink inside the cake. Party day came and everyone was excited! My prediction was "boy". Ava kept saying "girl". When daddy cut into the cake it was, PINK! I am getting a baby sister, oh man! But everyone else is SUPER excited!

School Boy

Mommy has been telling me about my new school for a few weeks now. I was very excited and helped pick out my new backpack and lunchbox. I will actually be going to 2 different mother's day outs. I just go once a week from 9-2. I have my San Antonio school and my Fort Worth school, and I went to both open houses. My San Antonio teacher is Ms. Vicki and my Fort Worth teachers are Ms. Crystal and Ms. Rusty. My first 3 times to school will be in San Antonio and then for 8 weeks, I will be at my Fort Worth school then back to my San Antonio school.
The first day of school I didn't want mommy to leave, but I didn't cry just a little wimper. I had a great day and really enjoyed it. I told mommy all about it and got to show her the pictures that I had made. I think I'm really gonna like being a school boy!

Bradie's Toy Story Party and a BIG lesson

I have been so excited to come to Fort Worth for Bradie's Toy Story Party! We got to fly to Fort Worth. I love flying. As we were waiting for the airplane to take off I kept saying, "Let's go, ¡VĂ¡monos". Guess I've been watching too much Dora. Bradie's party was so much fun. I wore his Buzz T-shirt to the party, but quickly changed into my swimsuit because it was a swim party. The cake was so yummy and I had so much fun swimming, but had a very scary moment. I was in the pool with my swim ring on. Everyone was socializing and eating around the pool. Ava and Sarah got out of the pool and was looking for a towel, and everyone was distracted for a minute either looking for a towel or just talking. Mommy looked up and I was under the water kicking my feet as hard as I could and my eyes as wide as they could be. Mommy jumped into the pool, clothes and all. I coughed a little and my lips had actually turned blue, but more than anything I was scared! Mommy and everyone else learned a very valuable lesson and that was you can never be over-confidant when it comes to water. That even thought there were over 10 people around the pool; I managed to go under. So now unless someone is IN the pool with me with eyes always on me, I have to be in with my life jacket. Mommy took me back into the water afterward and it took me less than a minute to be happy again in the water, but I often talk about going under water and it has made me very cautious about going near water without mommy!

Potty Training

Mommy has been thinking about potty training me for the past few months becuase I keep on getting a bad diaper rash that will not clear up. I have been able to sit and go pee on the potty for a while whenever prompted, but I had never gone poop in the potty. Mommy wasn't feeling well(she is gonna have a baby), so we weren't going anywhere for quite a few days, so she decided to take my diaper off and see what happened. To her surprise I have done great. I have done peeing the potty really well and I get stickers when I go. I have had a little more trouble with poop so I get a "special treat" when I go. The special treat consist of candy, cookies, or whatever is incentive enough to go. I have been doing much better. I am an underwear wearing boy; well, during the day anyway!

STAYcation with Nonny, Grandude, and Colton

Grandude, Nonny, and Colton all came to San Antonio for their vacation. I got to go do everything with them, so I got to have a Staycation. We went to Feista Texas and to Sea World twice. I had so much fun. We went to the shows, the water parks, and rode rides. Mommy even put extra socks in my shoes so I could ride the Shamu coaster. I rode with Nonny and I loved it!!

4th of July with Med School friends

So unfortunately, this fourth of July there was a ban on fireworks in San Antonio and all around due to the drought conditions. We were invited to Austin with daddy's medical school friends for a July 4th celebration. Lindsey was house sitting for some friends up there and they said that Lindsey could have people over, so we all went. It was a lot of fun! They had a pool and a big dog named Zorro. Not sure which I liked more. So NO fireworks, but fun in the sun and a lot of really good food and friends!
