Emergency Babysitter

So mommy had her last day of orientation on Tuesday, and she HAD to go because she starts working on Friday. She had Stephanie, one of the med school student's wives, set up to watch me; Stephanie called on Monday and said she was sick and running a temperature. So mommy called another one of the wives and her son was sick. Unfortunately, mommy still does not know many people in San Antonio (especially ones who could watch me during the day). She called some child care centers (which she really didn't want to do)to see if they took drop ins, but only one did and you had to be 12 months old. So mommy called Fort Worth to see if anyone would be available to come watch me if she flew them in. Michele volunteered and came in late Monday night. I had such a good time with her, she took really good care of me. I went 3 hours between all my feedings and she even got me to enjoy my swing for a while. When mommy got home from work, we went shopping at the mall. She flew back home today, but I hope she comes back one day. Gram E comes in tomorrow to watch me when mommy works this weekend.

I love to play, part 2

I love to play!

So I have really started to develop a personality this week. I am smiling like crazy and love playing on my mat. I had a good time this week with Gram E. I am still wanting to be held at night (mom just thought I had outgrown that), but I am going 2 1/2 to 3 hours between feeds.

Back to work for mommy :(

So Gram E came to watch me because mommy started back to work today. This makes me sad, but I think mommy is more sad. At least she only has to go back to work part-time. I was a good boy for Gram E last night, I let her put me back to bed after every feed(no holding required). I have been good today and was glad to have my mommy get home early. Well, I am starving and since mommy is home, I am gonna go get myself some grub.

Weekend with Nonny

I had a good time this weekend when my Nonny came to visit. She watched movies with me during the night so mommy could get some much needed sleep. Nonny also gave me baths and bunches of love. However, it turns out I am not sick of mommy and daddy's faces, I love them. (see pic) Tomorrow is daddy's birthday, I think I am the best present he has ever gotten, but mommy is still going to try to make it special, if he will take a break from studying. Well, got to go get my nightly bath and head to the bedroom (would say go to bed, but I don't really go to bed.) Oh and by the way, today I am 6 weeks old!!!

First day at park

So last night, I cried from midnight to 3 AM and mommy could not make me happy. I hope I don't start feeling this bad every night or mommy might go crazy. Today was better. Me and mommy have been going for walks in the afternoon. I love them; they put me fast asleep. This afternoon daddy took me, mommy, sparky and burton to the park for our walk. I enjoyed it, despite the bumpy trail. My nonny is coming into town for he weekend to help mommy with me so she can catch up on some sleep and get some things done around the house. I can't wait for someone new; I am tired of just seeing mommy's and daddy's face.

So today was the big day. Here is a picture of me before I went to the doctor and had the suprise of my life. Really the only bad part was when the doctor numbed the "area". Mommy wished the doctor would have had an appointment before now, but I was such a good boy, she felt better about it. I took a long nap when I got home; we will see how I feel tonight.

Fun in Fort Worth

I had so much fun with my family in Fort Worth. Mommy got some sleep and I got to meet everybody. I already miss them. I was a good boy driving back to San Antonio. We all love our new wheels. I am getting so big. Mommy weighed me on my month birthday and I was 8 pounds!! Two pounds in one month. Here are some pics from my trip to Fort Worth
