Here we snot again!

Well, it has happened again. My persistent runny nose is back. I finished my 21 days of Augmentin and 1 week later my thick green runny nose came back. Mommy started giving me Zyrtec as soon as she saw my nose running just like the ENT doc had told her, but it didn't seem to help. We got into see the ENT 2 weeks after this runny nose started. He started me on a different antibiotic (Cefprozil) for 2 weeks, and I will go see him again. Hopefully we just haven't found the right antibiotic to totally kill the bacteria in my sinuses. BUT he also sent me out for lab work to check and make sure my immune system is working right and to check to see if I have food or inhalant allergies that are setting me up for bacterial growth. Depending on what the lab work shows and if this antibiotic can rid me of this runny nose, the next step is to have my adenoids removed and a complete sinus washing. We REALLY hope it doesn't come to that, but we will see...
Oh and I just got over a very rough virus where I ran 104 fever for 2 days and my tonsils were so big that I would not eat (except for a popcicle with daddy), could barely breathe, and was just miserable. (The ENT thinks my nose problem is just making me highly susceptible to any little virus, so that is another reason we have to get it fixed) Thank you Nonny for taking such good care of me when mommy went to work!

Family Day

We had a fun family weekend with daddy. We went to the Japenese Tea Gardens, the zoo, and we rode the train. I love spending time with daddy.

Easter in Fort Worth and 16 months

Mommy and I spent Easter in Fort Worth. We drove and on the way up there, I would not go to sleep even though it was my nap time, so I ended up crying for about an hour and a half. The past few trips I have had a hard time transitioning to a new environment at night. So the first night at Nonny and Grandude's I was up a lot crying. We decided to spend every night at their house, so hopefully could get used to it. It worked and rest of my nights went smooth. I had a good time as usual spending time with all my family. I got to do 2 easter egg hunts, but I had the most fun just getting to play outside. On Saturday, I went to have dinner with Jeremy and Bianca. We stayed out really late and I got up to go to chucrch, so I was so tired before the Easter egg hunt. Mommy found me laying on the grass with the ball falling asleep. That was a good enough rest that I was able to make it through the hunt though.

I also got to go to Chuck E Cheese. I liked the dance and the ball game, and I tried to cheat on ski ball. I was so excited to use my tickets to get a balloon! Ava, Bradie, and I had a great time, but we really wore out the grown ups!

Right before we headed to Fort Worth, I started to act shy around people. I turn my head to the side and leave it there somtimes flashing a goofy smile. Here I am doing it because I just met my new cousin Bryson.

I turned 16 months old. I weigh 23 pounds and am 32 inches. I recently got my 4 canine teeth in which means I shouldn't be teething again until my 2 year molars. I am still into my Baby Einstein and my favorite one is old mcdonald. I love animals and can say and know "duck- quack, quack", "dog", "cat", "fish", and when asked what a cow says I say "moooooo". I can tell you when something is "hot" and I say "brrrr" when something is cold. I like when mommy sings Head and Shoulders. I will touch my head, shoulders, and recently my knees. I like to say "up/ down" while I put my hands up and down. I don't like to play by myself. I like to help mommy clean and I LOVE to go outside.

A Nursery Rhyme

Lukie had a little sheep,
who's fleece was good to eat,
and every night,
he'd take a bite
before he went to sleep.
